Stad Antwerpen is back on Burriana Beach

From 2001 - 2004 my wife, Jessica, and I owned the Stad Antwerpen restaurant on Burriana Beach, it was where Baker's Bar is now.  After an absence of 6 years we are delighted to be back, this time with son Christophe, to bring the Stad Antwerpen experience back to Nerja.   I have a passion for working in this industry, it is what I enjoy doing.  This was evident when I worked in Rocky's on Burriana, many people commented on my enthusiasm and I decided the time was right to start again with my own business.
Jessica and I are both natives of Antwerp in Belgium and believe that we offer a different cuisine and a different style of restaurant.  The colours, lights and handmade furniture all add to overall atmoshere of the place.  Also, everything is open and transparent, nothing is hidden, the customers can see into our kitchen and watch the food being prepared. 

Success in this business is about getting back to basics.  It is about how you prepare food and in particular what your kitchen is like.  I believe people like to see a very clean kitchen and like it when they can see into the kitchen and therefore they know it's clean, it also helps if it is professionally done in stainless steel.  This is what we have done at Stad Antwerpen again.

Fondue at Stad Antwerpen

We are not the people to copy what others have done, so we are introducing something new - "Fondue".  Customers will cook the Fondue at their table in a small casserole style dish. 
The dish will be either meat or fish and include fresh vegetables, plus homemade sauces, which you will either cook in olive oil or in a "boullion".  Many other dishes will be on offer, with "Specials" changing regularly, all made with the best possible, freshest ingredients.

Beers & Wines

We serve the standard Spanish beers like San Miguel, Alhambra, Cruz Campo and also some popular Belgian beers called Duvel, Leffe, Hoegarden, Chimay and Kriek Leifmans.  Also, we offer a wide range of reasonably prices Spanish red, white and rosé wines, by the glass or the bottle.

Entertainment

We are more than just another restaurant, offering entertainment for customers including, a DJ playing 60's, 70's and 80's music and the first Monday of each month is "Live Music Night".  We have a mobile disco that can cater for any outside event, ring us to discuss your requirements.
